Plastic Surgeon Who Stole Crystal Glasses From Posh Restaurant Faces Jail

A celebrated plastic surgeon in Russia is facing seven years in jail after he was caught apparently stealing a set of expensive crystal glasses from a posh restaurant.

Alexander Vdovin, famous for his surgery social media posts, was filmed on CCTV as he and two guests left an awards event at Moscow’s exclusive Lamborghini restaurant.

Vdovin had been attending the “Top 50 Best People” event at the restaurant where he had been nominated for an award.

But footage from inside the dining room apparently shows glasses being shamelessly slipped into a doggy bag.

Further footage shows Vdovin and two companions leaving the restaurant with two paper carrier bags allegedly containing the French crystal glasses.

When restaurant staff spotted the apparent theft on their CCTV they contacted the surgeon and asked him to return the glasses, according to local media.

The influencer allegedly ignored the request and now they have filed a police report.

Restaurant co-owner Arshak Grigoryan told local media Vdovin’s patients should not trust him.

Local media reported that the surgeon could face seven years in prison if convicted of theft under Russian law.

The investigation is understood to be ongoing.
