A beautiful basketball star who slam dunked her love rival’s jewellery in a fit of jealousy has been told by police she will not face any charges.

Professional hoops player Victoria Shcherbakova had been dating married IT tycoon Lestat Kim after winning him away from his wife.

Victoria – who plays for Runa Moscow – met Kim on a dating website after wife Anfisa moved out of the family home after a blistering row.

But – local media in Moscow, Russia, reported – she flew into a rage when she heard her lover on the phone begging Anfisa to come home.

Victoria is said to have emptied her rival’s jewellery box into the trash – including Cartier bracelets, watches, a diamond necklace and even her wedding ring.

For good measure, she also dumped a luxury Louis Vuitton handbag and the entire contents of the estranged couple’s two-year-old daughter’s nursery.

Anfisa ,28 – who had fled to friends in Turkey when the marriage collapsed – told how she was horrified when she realised Victoria had moved into the family home.

She found out about the affair when she saw a social media snap of him with the caption: “I never thought that I would become a fan of women’s basketball.”

And when she looked at Victoria’s social media pages, she found pictures taken at the family home, and messaged her ordering her to leave.

Anfisa told Russian media: “Lestat met her on a dating site at a time when we had a row and my daughter and I flew to my friend in Istanbul.

“He used the time to bring Victoria to our house.

“She knew that he was married, that he had a child. But she wasn’t embarrassed.

“She even moved into our apartment temporarily.

“I messaged her demanding she leaves my apartment, that she was sleeping in my bed with my husband.

“Let him do it wherever he wants, but not in my home.”

Victoria shared the message with her lover, who immediately called Anfisa after realising he’d been caught.

Anfisa continued: “My husband began to apologise, began to offer options on how to save the family.

“When Victoria realised that he was not choosing her, she apparently decided to take revenge.

“She collected all my things from the apartment and just threw them in the trash while my husband was not at home.

“She threw away documents, jewellery, namely wedding rings, an engagement ring, Cartier bracelet, Cartier watch, graduation album, children’s clothes, my shoes, sneakers, Louis Vuitton boots.”

Anfisa estimates the damage at RUB 2 million (GBP 20,178) and said: “She wanted to hurt me so much that she even threw out the artificial Christmas tree that Lestat and I chose.

“All my daughter’s toys – which I specially picked to match, so that it was pink and golden. Ballerinas, dancers, baby strollers… Everything is in the trash.”

Anfisa added: “When my husband found out about the thrown things, he was shocked.

“He didn’t even notice right away. When Victoria moved in, they put my things in bags and put them in the children’s room.

“After that, she herself admitted both in correspondence with him and on the phone that she had thrown everything away. Lestat told me later.

“My reaction? I burst into tears.”

But now Moscow police have told the couple they will not be investigating as they consider it a “private matter”.

Anfisa said: “I was shocked that they didn’t do anything and angered me, I mean how can you just go into someone’s house and throw away things that are not yours and they won’t even look at it?”

But she told how the domestic drama has put their marriage back on track.

She said: “We are now stronger together than ever as a result of what happened.”

Victoria used to play for the Novosibirsk Dynamo basketball club and is currently part of the Runa Moscow basketball club, local media said.
