A pervert who carried out a sex attack on his daughter‘s 11-year-old friend is facing murder charges after her abused body was discovered hidden in woodlands.
Sickeningly, suspect Dmitry Moiseev had at first pretended to take part in a massive search for his victim in Sim, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.
He did not confess until her body – covered in brutal stab wounds – was found in a forest two days after she went missing.
Victim Ksenia Ustyugova’s parents raised the alarm when she failed to return home from a walk with Moiseev’s daughter on 9th July.
Moiseev, 36, even misled police by claiming he had picked the girls up and had dropped Ksenia at her home.
In reality, he had driven her to dense woodlands, sexually abused her, and then stabbed her to death, he now admits.
Townsfolk formed massive search parties in the hunt for Ksenia, one of them joined by monster Moiseev.
Her brutalised body was finally found on a remote forest trail leading to a farmhouse on 11th July.
Shortly after the grim find, Moiseev confessed to killing Ksenia following a terrifying sex attack in the woods.
Ashinsky City Court ruled on 12th July that he should be held in custody while he waits to go on trial.
Moiseev is charged with murder of a minor and violent acts of a sexual nature. He faces up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
Local media report that he has expressed his remorse to the police.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Chelyabinsk Region said in a statement obtained by Newsflash on 12th July: “The Acting Prosecutor of Ashinsky City supported the petition of the head of the investigative unit of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Chelyabinsk Region, regarding the detention of a 36-year-old resident of Sim.
“The accused is charged under part ‘v’ of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a minor) and part ‘b’ of Article 132, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violent acts of a sexual nature).
“On 9th July 2023, between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., the accused committed acts of sexual violence against an 11-year-old girl in a forested area in the town of Sim, then inflicted stab wounds on her and hid the body in the forest.
“The accused fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime and expressed remorse in court.
“The court has ordered the accused to be remanded in custody until 11th September 2023.”
Ksenia is due to be buried on 13th July.
