A mum-of-five who gave birth to her first child aged just 11 has told of her heartbreak when her second husband dumped her – and to make matters worse she only found out in a text message from his new love.
Valya Isanova, now 29, shocked Russian media when it was revealed she had become pregnant by a lodger at her grandmother’s apartment.
The father, migrant worker Khabib Patokhonov, then aged 19, went on to marry Valya and have three more children with her before they broke up.
Now Valya has told how husband number two, who fathered her fifth baby, has walked out of the family home in Moscow, abandoning her and their one-week-old son.
She told local media: “I gave birth to a son. He is a week old.”
Valya told how she and her delivery driver new love, not named in local media, wed in a Muslim ceremony.
But just months later, she was contacted on social media by a woman claiming to be his second wife-to-be.
She told local media: “I was in the sixth month of pregnancy when a girl found me on social media, writing about my man.
“I told her that we were expecting a child. She, you know, like a kindergartener – she blocks me, then unblocks me.
“She writes, ‘I wish you an easy childbirth, I won’t break up another family.’
“But in reality, she still tries to destroy it.
“And suddenly my husband says to me, ‘I want that girl to become my second wife!’ So, he proposed polygamy.
“That threw me off balance. I said, ‘I won’t humiliate myself!'”
Despite Valya’s heartbreak, she learned that her husband kept seeing the girl in secret.
Then she said: “He sent a text message saying he refuses the child. That’s the kind of person he turned out to be.
“When it became clear that I was pregnant, he was at a loss. But then he said he wanted to claim the child as his own.
“Now, however, he explains that he can’t do it.”
Despite being left alone to take care of four children and a newborn, Valya said she does not despair.
She added: “Knowing him, I don’t think he will apologise. It hurts his honour. I think he understands everything, but his pride takes over.
“For me, the main happiness is my children.
“I’m happy about the addition to the family.”
