A brutal father has told police how he stabbed his wife, their 16-year-old daughter and his disabled mum to death after she refused to have sex with him.
Andrei Volobuev admitted carrying out the shocking slaughter at the family home in Kursk, Russia, on13th November when his 41-year-old wife Olga turned him down.
Volobuev was so furious the row woke up his paralysed 62-year-old mother and his daughter Katya who tried to calm him.
But, he confessed to police, he became enraged, grabbed a kitchen knife, and stabbed them all to death in a matter of moments.
Gruesome police reconstruction videos using dummies and a fake knife show Volobuev demonstrating to officers how he killed his victims.
Filmed in the family home still splattered with blood stains he calmly showed how he stabbed one victim in the chest while they were in bed.
Another had their throat slashed and the third was stabbed in the neck in their bed.
Investigators said they were shocked at how calmly Volobuev demonstrated the murders.
Officers ask him: “Where did you stab your daughter with the knife? Show us.”
Then they handed him a prop weapon, saying: “In which hand were you holding the knife?”
Volobuev answered without any motion: “In the right.”
When neighbours of the settlement learned about the murders they had to be restrained from lynching him on the spot, reports local media.
The suspect’s father, Nikolai Volobuev, said he feels ashamed to look people in the eye.
He said: “I would have killed him myself, but the police didn’t allow it. They didn’t even let me get close.
“The way he treated his daughter, killed his mother, wife! It’s unforgivable!”
Horrified neighbours said Volobuev always seemed sociable and friendly.
Olga worked as a hospital nurse and cared for her disabled mother-in-law at home.
Volobuev’s daughter Katya is said to have adored her dad and was planning to train as a doctor.
In one haunting social media video dedicated to her dad she said: “And thank you for everything! For a fun and bright childhood. For your strength and support.
“Father’s Day is a very warm holiday. And you, daddy, I love you very much.”
Marat Akhmetov, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region, said: “At the moment, the suspect is detained.
“The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided. Investigative actions are being carried out in the case aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the committed crime.”
