Tourists’ BMW Nearly Swept Away During Drunken Beach Photo Stunt

This is the moment a group of tourists have their BMW nearly swept away by the sea after driving it into the water for a poorly planned beach photo session.

The bizarre incident reportedly occurred in the resort village of Dzhubga, located on Russia’s Black Sea Coast, on Tuesday, 14th May.

According to reports, the tourists had been drinking alcohol on the beach when one of them suddenly decided to drive their black BMW sedan into the sea to take dramatic photos and videos of the vehicle against the foaming waves.

However, everything did not go according to plan. The car stalled and then began to be carried out to sea.

One piece of footage captured by a nearby resident shows the group driving through the deep sea when the car’s wheels got stuck in the wet sand, and the engine stalled.

A second video shows the bungling group trying to tow the BMW out of the water where it got trapped.

Two people pushed from the back as another driver in a blue off-road vehicle struggled to drag the BMW out of the sand with a cable.

Finally, a giant crushing wave slammed into the side of the trapped car and loosened the ground just long enough for the group to be able to salvage the soaking-wet BMW.

Police later reportedly revoked the driver’s license for driving under the influence.
